Chlorine Concentration is the Difference
Chlor-alkali plants typically produce all types of chlorine at the highest possible concentrations due to transportation and storage requirements. However, high-concentration chlorine degrades faster, loses potency during transit, and poses greater safety risks. HypoX® produces low-concentration NaOCl on-site, ensuring maximum freshness and effectiveness at the point of use.

Caustic Concentration is the Difference
Although both commercial and on-site produced sodium hypochlorite are referred to as NaOCl, their production methods result in vastly different caustic (NaOH) levels. Commercial NaOCl carries excess caustic from the manufacturing process, which raises pH and reduces disinfection efficiency. HypoX® generates NaOCl with minimal residual caustic, delivering a cleaner and more effective chlorine solution.

pH Level is the Difference
Chlorine is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and one of the primary reasons for this is how chlorine interacts with other components at different pH levels. The disinfection power of chlorine is directly tied to pH — lower pH means more hypochlorous acid (HOCl), the active killing agent. HypoX® produces NaOCl at a near-neutral pH, maximizing HOCl content and delivering superior microbial inactivation.

Oxidant Power is the Difference
Mix-oxidant-rich onsite-produced NaOCl contains much more oxidizing components than chlorine gas or commercial hypochlorite. These additional oxidants — including chlorine dioxide and ozone traces — work synergistically to break down biofilms, eliminate resistant pathogens, and reduce disinfection byproducts. HypoX® harnesses this multi-oxidant chemistry to deliver unmatched water treatment performance.

The Production of
NaOCl
HypoX H-type is the standard On-site Sodium Hypochlorite Generator which is well known as OSG. This model produces 0.8% NaOCl with standard MMO electrode coating and process parameters by using salt, water & electricity.
The Production of Mix Oxidant Rich NaOCl
HypoX O-type is the advance Mix-Oxidant Rich NaOCl generator as it produces the most effective form of NaOCl with 0.5-0.6% concentration with updated catalyst coatings and process parameters by using salt, water & electricity.



The Most Effective Form of NaOCl
Mix oxidants naturally occur besides NaOCl during electrolysis process, thanks to HypoX® O-type's unique catalyst mixture and updated process parameters developed by Kemisan.

O-Type is capable of generating additional oxidants from the 4-ions.
We have ingredients of Sodium(Na) and Chlorine(Cl) from salt and we have Hydrogen(H) and Oxygen(O) from water. Even we have the same 4 ingredients, we can produce more powerful NaOCl with O-type electrolyzers when compared with standard H-Type electrolyzers. Because we can produce oxidant richer NaOCl from the same ingredients.

Less Concentration of O-type is enough for the same disinfection.
HypoX O-Type is achieved to inactivate Escherichia Coli in 30 seconds (ATCC 10536) with 0,3 ppm chlorine concentration, and H-type inactivates it with 0,4 ppm whereas Chlorine gas made it with 0,5 ppm.
